How to move the Auto Restoration Assistant

to a new computer and transfer data

Perform the following steps to move software:

1) Download the latest build of the Auto Restoration Assistant - Ver 3.1.3

2) Install the software on the new computer

3) Launch the software when installation complete

4) Click on the "Activate" button and enter the license previously sent with the original order.

5) Close the Auto Restoration Assistant.

Perform the following steps to move the database to the new computer:

1) Perform a search for RESTORE.MDB from the old computer. this is the database file where all previously entered data is stored.

Note: If previous install was not licensed, then the database is name DEMO.MDB.

2) Copy database file into C:\Program Files\Restoration Assistant\Auto and replace the existing database file.

Note: Installation path may be different if custom install choosen.

3) Launch the Auto Restoration Assistant and verify data is present.

Alternate method:

1) run C:\Program Files\Restoration Assistant\Auto\Activate.exe and enter serial number previously sent.
