II Initial Analysis
a. Perform detailed inspection
b. Estimate available funds to restore
c. Determine level of restore
d. Determine modifications and cost
e. Identify external factors
III Develop Plan
a Review initial analysis
b. Determine start / finish and develop reasonable timeline
c. Evaluate external factors (What if's)
d. Determine equipment requirements
e. Determine external facilities and personnel requirements
f. Research where to find parts, supplies, and equipment
IV Gather Equipment and Supplies
a. Determine workspace requirements (space, electric, etc)
b. Determine equipment and supplies needed
c. Gather equipment and supplies
d. Build workspace items if needed
e. Organize workspace
f. Find storage space
g. Coordinate external services
h. Acquire reference material
V Begin Disassembly
a. Move vehicle to workspace
b. Begin disassembly
c. Perform detailed inspection of components
d. Determine items to replace
e. Package and label all components
f. Document all parts removed and photograph or draw diagram
g. Safely store all parts
VI Restoration
a Refurbish salvageable parts
b. Order reproduced parts
c. Search for obsolete parts
d. Send out parts to 3rd party for refinish, etc
e. Maintain detailed inventory
f. Manage external services and personnel
VII Reassembly
a. Inspect parts upon receipt and return if necessary
b. Store parts until ready to reassemble
c. Prioritize component reassembly
d. Determine personnel needs
VIII Final Inspection
a. Verify functionality of all components
b. Inspect paint and brightwork
c. Inspect body panels for fit
d. Determine overall costs
